Business Law offers insight into the evolution and development of laws that govern business in society. Students will gain a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities within the business environment. The course covers criminal vs. civil law, contract law, tort law, and consumer law, while analyzing aspects of the legal environment, including ethics, the judicial system, contracts, personal property, sales, and negotiable instruments. Open to grades 10-12, this course provides 1 credit and requires Principles of Business as a prerequisite.
