Advertising is a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of advertising. Students will learn about techniques used in various forms of advertising, including print, broadcast, and digital media. The course explores social, ethical, and legal issues in advertising, historical influences, strategies, media decision processes, and integrated marketing communications. Open to grades 10-12, this course offers .5 credit and requires Principles of Business as a prerequisite. Semester course that is paired with Social Media Marketing.
