Advanced Audio/Video Production builds upon the concepts taught in A/V Production, enhancing students' advanced knowledge and skills for success in the Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications Career Cluster®. Students will develop a deeper understanding of the industry, focusing on pre-production, production, and post-production processes. Through diverse storytelling and production methods, students will cultivate creativity, intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. This course may be offered in an audio format or a combination of audio and video, with a lab component dedicated to the production and post-production process. Open to grades 11-12, it offers 1 or 2 credits and requires Principles of Arts, A/V Technology as a prerequisite.
